Website and technical data

When you visit, the hosting provider processes connection data such as IP address, time and requested page. Provider, retention and processing details appear below.

Hosting provider DigitalOcean, LLC. The production server is in New York, USA (region nyc1). HTTPS traffic passes through the proxy managed by AMIFA.

Enquiries

If you contact us, we process your name, company, email, optional website and message to handle the enquiry. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contract enquiries, otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for our interest in replying. We do not request confidential documents.

Email provider Form enquiries are sent through Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc.) and handled in AMIFA’s Google mailbox.

Retention and deletion: Enquiries are handled by email and are not stored in a website database. The website does not set an automatic deletion period in the mailbox. Abuse prevention keeps a hash of the email address and counters in memory. They expire after 15 minutes and are removed on the next form request or restart. Application logs rotate by file size; no time-based deletion period is configured.

International data transfers: The production server processes technical connection data in the USA. Resend processes email data in the USA; Google may process email data outside the European Economic Area. The providers describe their processing and transfer terms in their privacy information and data processing terms.

Cookies, fonts and analytics

This site uses no analytics or marketing services. Fonts and images are served locally. The enquiry form uses no external captcha service.

Your rights

Subject to the GDPR, you have rights to access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability and objection. You may complain to the Austrian Data Protection Authority.
